Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉPDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ departments. The purpose of the ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉPDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ community

To provide liaison between ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉPDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉPDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
